Unfortunately the project on instructables provided inspiration but almost no direction as to how to build the project. I have reverse engineered the project to a point where I think I can accurately duplicate it. I know I have minor variations but it’s very close to the original. One of the many questions on the instructables post asked if the back panel was also a double thickness. The question like almost all others went unanswered. I could see the double thickness at the back panel turrets but later found that only about 1/5 of the back panel is double. The majority of it is single thickness. Hopefully this blog as well as comments I am posting on instructables will prevent others from making some of the mistakes I have made and others that I will undoubtedly make.
