It’s still primer, we start painting with gloss paint this week.

What seems to work good for me when gluing the 22.5 degree tower boards is the lay them face up and tape them together. Then clamp the ends so you can flip it over without tearing the tape apart.

Then apply glue to the v-groove, undo the clamps and install band clamps around the boards.

Next I set my zeroed my digital protractor on the horizontal board and then adjusted the band clamps until the adjacent board was at 45 degrees, then just let the glue set up.

Once the glue is rubbery, use a chisel to scrape off the excess.

The gap is because the panels aren’t glued up yet.

We started gluing up the tower panels. I think we’ll glue up two at a time and then join them together.

My router bit started cutting really ragged. This is my 3rd bit. I’ve ordered 2 more and will get them Monday. A brand new 140 tooth circular saw blade only lasted for about 20 long cuts and it started warping and cutting wavy.

Working on the 12″ panels. One more window to cut then I’ll round over the window edges.
